1. Introduction

CantMissMe ("we", "our", or "us") provides a Windows desktop application that displays full-screen animated reminders synced with your Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook calendar. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service:

  • Calendar access via OAuth: When you connect your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook account, we use OAuth 2.0 to obtain a short-lived authorization code. This code is used solely to read your calendar events so the app can display reminders.
  • Support form submissions: If you contact us via the support form, we collect your name, email address, and message content.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Calendar data is used exclusively to fetch upcoming events and trigger on-screen reminders on your device. We do not store, sell, or analyze your calendar contents.
  • Support form data is used only to respond to your support request.

4. Data Storage

OAuth authorization codes are temporarily stored in Cloudflare KV with a 3-minute time-to-live (TTL) and are deleted immediately after a single use. We do not maintain any long-term server-side storage of your personal data or calendar contents. All calendar data is processed locally on your Windows device.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and apply the following protections:

  • All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
  • OAuth authorization codes stored in Cloudflare KV are encrypted at rest by Cloudflare's infrastructure.
  • Access to stored data is restricted to the CantMissMe application and is not accessible to unauthorized parties.
  • We do not store Google Calendar data, event contents, or personal information on our servers at any time.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data only for as long as necessary to deliver the service:

  • Google OAuth authorization codes: Retained for a maximum of 3 minutes in Cloudflare KV, then automatically deleted. They are also deleted immediately upon first use (single-use tokens).
  • Google Calendar data: Never stored on our servers. It is fetched in real-time, processed locally on your Windows device, and never persisted server-side.
  • Support form data: Retained only for as long as needed to respond to your request.
  • Deletion requests: You may request deletion of any data we hold by emailing support@cantmissme.com. You can also immediately revoke all Google data access by removing CantMissMe from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Third-Party Services

CantMissMe integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Google APIs — used to read Google Calendar events. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Microsoft (Outlook) — used to read Outlook calendar events via Microsoft's authentication services.
  • Formspree — used to process support form submissions. Formspree receives the name, email, and message you submit.
  • Cloudflare — used for website hosting and temporary KV storage of OAuth codes.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties beyond the services listed in Section 7, which are required for the app to function.

You can revoke CantMissMe's access to your calendar at any time:

CantMissMe is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of CantMissMe after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
